Kenny graduated from Dundee University in 1996.
He completed his vocational training on Deeside and continued to work in general practice for several years as an associate until he moved to the salaried dental service where he was employed directly by the NHS in 2002.
In 2004 he opened Arduthie Dental Practice to queues of people with the ideal of delivering high quality dental care at a fair price.
In 2009 he was appointed Practice Development Plan Tutor with NHS Education Scotland (NES) and it was practice management and development that led him to look into further education to help him and his practice of dentistry grow.
His diploma in Postgraduate Dental Science expanded his knowledge in: surgical dentistry, sedation and anxiety management, analgesia, business management, finance and endodontics.
In 2017 he furthered his studies with the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in London in undertaking a dental implant course.
Kenny is a proud father to Sarah and Rachel and husband to Pam.
He has served on Stonehaven Lifeboat with the RNLI for over 10 years and has been Helm of the lifeboat for over 5 years.
In the evenings and early mornings he can be found running, swimming or training in the gym and is keen to attempt a Triathlon in the near future.
