Kenny graduated from Dundee University in 1996.

He completed his vocational training on Deeside and continued to work in general practice for several years as an associate until he moved to the salaried dental service where he was employed directly by the NHS in 2002.

In 2004 he opened Arduthie Dental Practice to queues of people with the ideal of delivering high quality dental care at a fair price.

In 2009 he was appointed Practice Development Plan Tutor with NHS Education Scotland (NES) and it was practice management and development that made him take a course at Bristol University in Postgraduate Dental Science, which he completed in 2016.

In 2017 he furthered his studies with the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in London when he started a dental implant course. He is currently bringing cases together to present at the college.

Kenny is a proud father to Sarah and Rachel and husband to Pam.

He is an active helm of Stonehaven Lifeboat.

He is a fitness instructor in the evenings and can be found training in the swimming pool every morning before work.
